Two second half goals from Rwandan sensation Jacques Tuyisenge aka “Ja Usenge” gave K’Ogalo the second win on the trot against Thika United in a Sportpesa Premier League catch up fixture on Wednesday 6 at Nyayo Stadium.
Thika who were chasing the first win in seven attempts went ahead first through Kibwana Mwinyi in the first half, and held on to the slim lead into the breather, despite the reigning champions camping in their half in search of the equalizer.
On restart Gor kept pilling pressure which yielded fruit in the 52nd minute when Tuyisenge drew matters level.
Things fell apart for the Milk Men when Ugandan keeper Hamuza Muwonge was sent off for a second bookable offense for a bad tackle on Tuyisenge who was a thorn on his flesh. Ze Maria charges took advantage of their numerical strength and continued terrorizing the Kiambiu County side.
Tuyisenge grabbed a brace for his third goal in two matches to light up Nyayo and loudly announce his arrival in the Kenyan top league.
K’Ogalo moves to sixth on the table with 10 points, 4 off leaders Tusker FC. They next face Ushuru FC over the weekend.
