Late call ups to the Kenyan team to Mauritius Harun Shakava, Musa Mohamed of Gor Mahia and John Nairuka of Ulinzi Stars are among local based players who have made the final cut for the trip.
Kenya’s Harambee Stars will face “Les Dodos” of Mauritius in a FIFA World Cup qualifier match on Wednesday 7, at Anjalay Stadium,Belle Vue.
Also in the list is Sofapaka keeper David Okello. Only two foreign based pros are part of the traveling party, they include Anthony Akumu of Al Khartoum and Allan Wanga of Azam FC – the rest are expected to link up with team in Mauritius on Monday 5.
Stars squad lead by Coach Bobby Williamson departs Nairobi for Plaisance today – they are expected at Sir Seewosagur International Airport on the south part of the Island tonight.
Assistant Coach Musa Otieno will not be traveling with team since he is not feeling well.
The team will be staying at Hotel Les Cocotiers in Baie du Tumbeau.
