Gor Mahia coach Frank Nutall has hailed the effort made the his players who have earned call ups from their National teams in preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Gor mahia have manager to produce 4 players in the Harambee Stars squad for their match against Mauritius including Captain Musa Mohammed, Harun Shakava, Bonface Oluoch and Michael Olunga while Khalid Aucho and Geoffrey Walusimbi will feature for Uganda Cranes. Karim Nizigiyimana will turn out for Burundi as Abouba Sibomana represents Rwanda.
Speaking to the club’s website, a jubilant Nuttall hailed the players for their efforts and wished them good luck while on their international duties.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Nuttal urged the rest of the players to copy their counterparts who had received call ups.
”That’s a clear recognition for all their hard work and dedication. Thoroughly deserved and good luck to them. I challenge the rest of the players in the Gor Mahia squad to push themselves to get that type of recognition”, he is quoted.
Kenya’s Harambee Stars start the qualifiers with an away match to Mauritius while Burundi start away to Seychelles.
