Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has expressed his suprise at the Khalid Aucho saga after his manager Geoffrey Kavemba accused the club of failing to give him a release letter saying they were frustrating the players move.
Speaking exclusively to Soka25east from France where he is attending the ongoing Euro 2016 tournament, Rachier sort to explain the misunderstanding.
“I am suprised by sentiments of the man who claims he is Aucho’s agent because we dont even know him.As a club we always advocate to have our players get opportunities and we can never deny them.Aucho called me yesterday (Wednesday) and he requested for permission to attend trials at Scottish club Rangers and i immediately instructed one of our official Ronald Ngala to give him a letter but he should be back by June 25th but if the trials are positive we will follow procedure and let him go”
“Its important that everyone respects procedure involving players movement the agent should bring the letter from Rangers so that we can be satisfied the club knows about the trials. We want to wish Aucho well in the trials as we have now given him permission. The said agent has to know Aucho is still our player because he has a running contract that ends in December” Rachier told Soka25east.com.
Aucho has been linked by the Scottish club who are yet to give an official position about the player despite alot of twitter reaction and a hashtag dedicated to his move.
