Gor Mahia left back Godfrey Walusimbi started training with Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday.
There has been no confirmation of a move,but would appear that talks are progressing between Chiefs and Gor Mahia
In a statement on Friday Kaizer Chiefs Football manager Bobby Motaung said Amakhosi are close to signing the defender.
“The two clubs are in discussions and we hope to finalise the matter in the next few days”Motaung told Chiefs official website
Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr lashed out at Kaizer Chiefs over Godfrey Walusumbi tapping.However Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung dismissed this as he stated that they followed the right channels.

Chiefs are looking to fill the void left by veteran left back Tshepo Masilela who was released by the club at the end of last season
