Kenya Cup also called “Gotv Shield Cup” round of sixteen fixtures have been released by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) after a successful round of 32 over the weekend.
The pivotal point of this round will no doubt be the duel between Ulinzi Stars and sleeping giants of Kenyan football and 2013 champions AFC Leopards, the two will renew their rivalry in their only remaining chance for continental soccer next year. Ulinzi were given a bye in the round of 32 as their opponents failed to show up while “Ingwe” squeezed past Wazito FC 2-1.
Kenyan Premier League 2015 Champions Gor Mahia will battle little known Palos FC from Kisumu as they look to advance their insatiable thirst for more honors this season. K’Ogalo labored to a 3-2 triumph over hard fighting Ushuru FC to book the spot.
Round of 16 fixtures
Administration Police v Fresha, Gor Mahia v Palos, Fortune Sacco v Nakumatt, Sony Sugar v West Sugar, Nzoia United v Tusker FC,
Muhoroni v Police, Bandari v AP Bomet, Ulinzi Stars v AFC Leopards
The matches will be played in the weekend of 10/11 October 2015.
