By Bonface Osano,
Ten-time Kenya Cup “Gotv Shield Cup ” champions Gor Mahia will today take on Nairobi County League side Langata Gremio at City Stadium in the absence of head Coach Frank Nuttal.
In his place, assistant coach and namesake Frank Ouna will be on the touchline.
Nuttal is expected back in the country from home in Scotland tomorrow Thursday 25th June 2015, he took a deserved break during the mid season KPL breather after guiding “K’Ogalo” to the summit of the league, 15 matches unbeaten with 12 wins.
Gor was last year eliminated from the tournament by minnows FC 105 of Eldoret and they will be leaving nothing to chance against little known Grimeo.
“We are ready for them. We have been preparing well for the match and we will take the match seriously like any other. ” Ouna toldSoka25east.com
New signing Enock Agwanda, who joined Gor from Sofapaka could get a taste of what it takes to be in the green Gor Mahia jersey todaywhile Jerry Onyango “Jagoal” may get his chance in goal for the first time this season.
Match kickoffs at 3PM EAT
