The week 15 MTN/FAZ Super League match between Green Buffaloes and Nkwazi has been postponed as the army side has contributed five players to the Cosafa Castle Cup squad. This is according to a post on their Football Association of Zambia’s official Facebook page.
Green Buffaloes has requested that their fixture be put off as their side is depleted in the absence of skipper Adrian Chama, Talisman Brian Mwila who is currently sitting on 6 goals in the league, influential midfielders Diamond Chikwekwe, Jack Chirwa and Mike Katiba.
The army side has written to FAZ over their predicament with the mother body acceding to their demand. Green Buffaloes is fifth on the log after 14 matches with six wins, four draws and four losses.
