MY VIEW IN THE AFCON QUALIFIER GROUP K MATCH
Guinea Bissau Vs Zambia
Estádio 24 de Setembro, Bissau
18:00hrs
Referee: Kokou Ognankotan Ntale (Togo)
Zambia takes on Guinea in round four of Group K in the tussle of qualification to 2019 AFCON finals in Cameroon. All the four teams have four points and the only thing separating them are goals forced and goals allowed.
This will be the fourth time these two teams are meeting with each winning one and the the other ending in a draw in Ndola at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. Guinea Bissau are from losing 2-1 in mid week to Zambia and they will hold the advantage of winning this one after gaining that much knowledge about this new looking Zambia youthful team.
“It’s always difficult to play the same team in a short space of time but we shall have the advantage when Zambia visits,” said the Guinea coach through the translator after the encounter in Lusaka, Zambia.
That’s what Sven and his boys should be weary of going into this game. Sven will also have to decide his approach to this encounter whether he will go all out attack or he will have to protect the one point assured when the game kicks off.
That’s it, and Zambia will have to be more direct than the gallery show they played in most of the period of the game on Wednesday in Lusaka. Everything in this group starts from zero and the winner of this encounter will have taken a serious initiative. It depends though with the first line up Sven will throw onto the pitch. Am going for a draw.
My Prediction: Guinea Bissau 1-1 Zambia
