The Kenya and Zambia women’s national team, all set to go in camp next week, gearing for the 2017 Cosafa Women’s Championship in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

The Harambe Startles were invited as a guest team, at the Championship that will be staged from September 13-24.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) CEO, Robert Muthoni has exclusively told soka25east.com that, Kenya are scheduled to enter into their training camp next week.

“They will enter camp next week,” Muthoni revealed in a single sentence.

Meanwhile, they were some adjustment in regards to the planned dates for Shipolopolo to enter into residential camp at FAZ Technical Center.

An authentic source, haa said that, the training camp which was supposed to embark last week has been moved to this weekend.

“I am from a meeting at Football house and the National Chairperson has told us that, the team will go into camp this weekend,” said the source.

Efforts to get a confirmation from the Football Association of Zambia have been unsuccessful.

Shipolopolo’s friendly with Banyana Banyana is also not yet finalised despite FAZ announcing 12th August as the fixed date.

The South Africa Football Association (SAFA ) Communications manager, Dominic Chimhavi has said that at the moment there was nothing yet for the public.

Another source has revealed that, the negotiations for the Shipolopolo and Bafana friendly are currently taking place and the deal is yet to be finalized.
