Harambee Starlets provisional squad for Turkish Women’s Cup released

Harambee Starlets head coach David Ouma has named 25 players to his provisional squad ahead of the Turkish Women cup slated for March 2 to 11 in Turkey.


The call-up largely features players who did duty during last years successful run at the CECAFA Championships which Starlets won.


Falling Water’s player Jane Njeri who impressed during the Chapa Dimba na Safaricom has earned a call up.


The team is expected to hit camp on February 23, in Nairobi with a local friendly match lined up five days later on February 28.


The final Squad comprising of 21 players will be released shortly before the Turkey trip on Monday 2.


Other nations at the tourney are: Hungary, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Romania, Uzbekistan, Northern Ireland, Turkmenistan and Chile.
