Kenya Women’s National team Harambee Starlets has landed an invitation to the Turkish Women’s Cup due to take place between March 2 and 11 in Turkey.
The tourney comes ahead of the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifiers scheduled for April and June.
According to the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) website, Starlets are set to hit camp on February 23rd in Nairobi. At the same time, head coach David Ouma will announce his provisional squad this Wednesday.
Other nations in the tournament are Hungary, Venezuela, HongKong, Romania, Uzbekistan, Northern Ireland, Chile, and Turkmenistan.
