Harambee Stars arrived in Tehran, Iran on Sunday afternoon ready for Iran International friendly on Tuesday.
The Stars face off Iran in a friendly match on March 28 at 7 pm in the famous Azadi Stadium.Iran drew 1-1 with visiting Russia in an International friendly played at the same stadium few days ago.
This will be the Stars’ first assignment following the lifting of the suspension in November 28 last year.
FIFA lifted the suspension that was imposed on the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) in February 2022 in accordance with article 16 of the FIFA Statutes.
Harambee Stars coach Engin Firat named the final 24-man squad on Saturday.
Debutants Alfred Scriven and Daniel Anyembe have made it to the traveling squad.
Regulars Kenneth Muguna, Eric Ouma, Richard Odada and Abdallah Hassan also booked their places. Michael Olunga highlights Firat’s attacking options.
