Harambee Stars poor away form continued when they crushed to a 3-0 loss against hosts Atlas Lions of Morocco in an International friendly played at the Stade De Marrakech in Morocco.
Harambee Stars put up a spirited fight before the team crumbled in the last 13 minutes as El Mehdi Karnass broke the deadlock with a beautiful curled ball that beat a hapless Arnold Origi in Stars goal in the 77th minute.
Moubarak Boussoufa added the second in the 86th minute from the penalty spot after an infringement as Mohcine Lajour sealed off the win with a fine strike that left keeper Origi with no option as he remained rooted to the ground in Morocco’s second successive friendly after another 4-0 drubbing of Central Africa Republic over the weekend.
The loss was the second for coach Bobby Williamson since he took over the team the first being a 1-0 loss to Egypt also away from home .
Kenya’s Starting Line Up : Arnold Origi, Edwin Wafula, Jackson Saleh, David Owino, Aboud Omar, Dennis Odhiambo, Victor Wanyama, Humphrey Mieno, Ayub Timbe, Danson Kago, Noah Wafula.
