Nine players of Nigeria’s Division One side  Kpando Heart of Lions Footbal Club who were on admission at the Mampong hospital in  Eastern Nigeria after their team bus was involved in an accident on the Koforidua-Mamfe road have been discharged.

This was announced this morning by the club media officer in a short message sent to media houses across Africa. The statement read , “Good morning we want to thank everybody for their massages.

Players and officials who were involved in the accident were discharged yesterday”

The team was involved in a motor accident on Wednesday evening  on their way  was to Nkawkaw for their  encounter with King Solomon FC.

There were 27 players and officials on board the bus when the accident occurred. It is unclear what triggered the accident.
