Hearts of Oak Score 2 to End King Faisal’s 5 Game Unbeaten Run

By Jonathan Atua,

Hearts of Oak put in a splendid performance to defeat Kumasi king Faisal who had recorded just one defeat in their last five matches.

After facing much criticisms due to their 4-1 loss to relegation threatened Tamale city FC, the phobia lads put in two late goals to defeat king Faisal 2-0.

Hearts opened the scoring in the 89th minute after a decent run by captain Gladson Awako to find his team mate Eonde who then laid a superb pass to Salifu to break the deadlock.

In 92nd minute and against the run of play, Hearts got their second goal through Linda Mtange who slotted in beautifully from an Eonde rebound.

This results put them on 4th position with 45 points after 29 games and 5 points behind league leaders Aduana stars FC who will face Kotoku Royals tomorrow.
