Amavubi head coach Antonie Hey banking on their adequate preparation and the confidence oozing from his players to eliminate Tanzania in 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) second qualification round,second leg on Saturday 22 July at Kigali Stadium in Nyamirambo.

Speaking to the FERWAFA official site,Hey said although they were facing a more experienced team, they would be going out with a positive attitude and mean intent.

“We have trained very well. We had no injuries and the players seem to be more focused than they were going into the first leg fixture.”

“Honestly, I think we’re in a good position to finish the job that we started last weekend in Mwanza, we’re not under any pressure,” he noted.

“The match is very special for us and we have got to make a good start as we did in the first leg when we scored first but ended the game with 8 defenders before we had to defend our away goal, but I don’t think we’re going to employ similar tactics in front of our home supporters tomorrow,” Hey added.

The winner between the two side will meet either South Sudan or Uganda in the second round of the qualifier.
