A New dawn is upon the Zambian Football fraternity with a new president in place Mr Andrew Ndanga Kamanga replacing the 1988 African Footballer of the year Kalusha Bwalya who has led Football house for the past 8 years.Its no time for celebrations for the winning camp as their is a lot of expectancy from the Football Family.

The first major expectation is that the football family expects the league to be independent.Their has been a massive change in the recent year in regards to the running of Football leagues.The new ideal wa y is a an independent board which will have the mandate of looking at the affairs of the clubs and the league at large.

Mr Kamanga had talked of introducing a board to chose players and recommend to the coach who has the final say.He also talked of Re-introducing the all stars vs the rest to give chance to players to prove themselves.

The fans await on these promise as they will give them a bigger role to play in the choice of national team players.The football family is generally calling for players to be picked on Merit and not by names .

Equal distribution of finances is another thing the Football family expects from the new executive of FAZ.Their has been a huge cry from lower division teams on the sponsorship and finances allocated to them.This needs to change if we are to improve our league and help it grow.

Mr Kamanga is expected to bring sanity to Football house and generally clean up the Association.The football family will eagerly wait as to when these changes will start coming into effect.
