Lusaka Dynamos midfielder Mike Mudenda says he dreams of playing football at the highest level.
Mudenda reveals to Soka25east.com that he gets inspired by watching the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL).
Mudenda says he is not happy at Lusaka Dynamos and is in search of greener pastures. We had a nice chat with him and this is what he had to say.
Soka25east.com: Give us a brief background about yourself. How would you describe yourself?
Mudenda: I am 21 years old. I am from Mazabuka town. I am a cool guy who comes from a humble & religious family of Six.
I started playing football in my childhood town (Mazabuka) when I was 12 years old. Usually we would play barefoot with plastic balls.
Soka25east.com: Tell us a bit about your career at Lusaka Dynamos. How does it feel to play at such a great club?
Mudenda: I joined Lusaka Dynamos when I came from Chiparamba Academy. I have been with the team from 2011 up to date. Its good to play at the club because it is more like a spring board of upcoming players.
When I was at Chiparamba academy in 2009 I traveled to Sweden to play in Gothia cup
World Youth tournament which we won. I have a gold medal in the cabinet. And in 2010 I traveled to Italy to play in the World Youth Cup (Ciociara Cup) in Napoli Rome. We lost in the quarterfinals to Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Soka25east.com: What is your aim for the future as a footballer?
Mudenda: My aim is to play football at the highest level. That’s professional level. I get inspired when I am watching South African teams playing.
Soka25east.com: Any message to young players who are looking to play in the Super League?
Mudenda: To all upcoming players, just stay focused, determined and disciplined. Work extra hard and pray to God. Ask him to help you succeed and achieve the goals you have set because he is the only one who gives and takes.
Soka25east.com: We appreciate you spending some time to talk to us.
Mudenda: Alright thanks!
Soka25east.com would like to wish Mike Mudenda all the success in his future endeavor.
