Zesco United striker Idris Mbombo will return to face his former club Kabwe Warriors for the second time at the Railway Stadium in this afternoon’s Week 11 FAZ Super League match.
Mbombo who moved from Kabwe Warriors to Zesco United on a loan deal in 2016, finally sealed a permanent move at the end of last season in December 2017.
The Congolese goal machine netted 24 times for Magnificent Kabwe Warriors in the team’s quest for promotion to the Super League in 2015.
Mbombo has continued to score goals since moving to Zesco United and most recently got the winner against Libolo in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Idris’ homecoming comes at a time when Chintu Kampamba’s Warriors are struggling with goals.
