By Robert Matakanye,
Orlando Pirates have offered Luvuyo Memela a new contract which will see him stay at the club beyond his current spell.
Memela joined the Buccaneers from National First Division side Cape Town All Starrs three years ago and has proved himself to coaching staff to earn a contract extension.
The 31 year old is one of Pirates most influential players at the club and while his contribution playing in the number eleven role often goes unnoticed,Pirates are aware of the value he brings to the squad both in an out of the pitch.
Memela will see his existing deal with Pirates expire at the end of the 2018/19 season, however the club is wasting no time in tying the player down on a new contract.
According to source close to Pirates camp a one year contract with an option has been proposed that will see him stay at the Soweto giants .
