Prolific Rayon Sports striker Ismaila Diarra has renewed his contract with the reigning Peace Cup champions as confirmed by the chairman Dennis Gacinya.

“Diarra will stay with us for now, he signed a new contract a couple of days ago,” Gacinya told Soka25east.com on phone from Rwanda this evening.

He added the deal is flexible and any better offer for the highly rated forward will be accepted, however he ruled out the Malian joining Kenyan Premier League side AFC Leopards.

“Definitely we will let him go if a better offer comes his way but I don’t think he will join Leopards.”

Diarra was a top target for the former Kenyan champions who reportedly handed him a two year deal.

He joins Pitriot Kwizera and Emmanuel Imanishimwe who have committed their stay at the 2016 Azam Rwanda Premier League runner up.
