Zanaco forward Roderick Kabwe has expressed delight at winning the MTN Super League title.
Kabwe who was instrumental for Zanaco the entire season says winning the title on his birthday makes it extra special.
Kabwe posted on his facebook page paying gratitude to his fans.
“A very big thanx to you all my friends for sparing some of your precious time to wish me well in life and also in my football career.
“I say thank you all and may our merciful God bless you for me. What a way to celebrate it was winning the precious MTN super league on the same day,” Kabwe wrote.
This is the first title for Roderick Kabwe and the 7th for Zanaco Football Club.
Numba Mumamba’s outfit yesterday defeated Lumwana Radiants 1-0 to steal the title away from Zesco United with an unassailable 75 points secured.
For Roderick Kabwe its a well deserved achievement since joining the club from Kabwe Warriors.
“It’s been quiet a journey from 2013 since I joined Zanaco finish 4th and 2016 winning the championship on my birthday wow to God who fought the battle for me since day one upto now be the glory.
First league title in 6 years of premiership football in my career,” He added.
