Burkina Faso international and ASEC Mimosa forward Aristide Bance has been named the Ivory Coast Ligue 1 Player of the Month for January.
The award is given to the best performing player in the country in one particular month. The nominees for the award are picked by league organisers,Ivorian Football Association (AFI).
Bance had been nominated for the January Award among other top players in the league before a shortlist of three was made.The striker emerged the best after considering number of goals scored during the period as well as his disciplinary record.
He was awarded CFA Francs 500, pesonalises trophy among other goodies.
