JACOB NGULUBE NOT FOR SALE-MUFULIRA WANDERERS
Mufulira Wanderers Football Club have resolved not to sale Jacob NGULUBE as the coach and players are keen on having the talented midfielder back in the team.
According to the vice secretary George Mwanja the Executive Committee Meeting held yesterday(Tuesday) resolved that Jacob won’t be sold because he was in the game plan of the manager and the players and hence awaited to join camp.
Mr Mwanja talking to Bwezani with football on Wednesday morning though confirmed that the boy was still not with the team after FAZ ruled that the player belongs to Mufulira Wanderers . He added that he has engaged the player and was being awaited to feature for training before the team leaves for Zimbabwe at the end of this week.
Asked what the Exco would do if he still doesn’t show up Mr Mwanja said they will have no choice but to report the matter back to FAZ for further guidance.
Other sources state that Jacob Ngulube is still at Nkana despite the FAZ Players Status Committee ruling that he was a Mighty Mufulira Wanderers player.
Ngulube has continued training with Nkana and was involved in a friendly against FAZ division One team GOMES in Wusakile where he scored a second half headed lone goal to help Nkana overcome Gomes of Ndola 1-0 at Nkana Stadium.
“I talked to the boy yesterday and am expecting him to join the training this morning, I will just call the coach later on to find out if he is there and if not then will still find out from the player as to why he is missing training.” Mufulira Wanderers Vice Secreatary George Mwanja.
