New K’Ogalo signing Jacob Keli scored his first first goal in Gor Mahia colors in a friendly match against St. George FC played on Friday 15 at Addis Ababa Stadium.
The former Nkana FC forward scored in the 42nd minute to silence the home fans who were celebrating 80th anniversary since formation of their club.
K’Ogalo held on to the lone tight till the 90th minute when Ugandan Brian Umony equalized for Kidus Giorgis sending the tie to straight penalties.
Frank Nuttall’s side scored all the five kicks while the host missed the fifth, handing the 15-time Kenyan champions their first trophy of the new year.
Gor travelled to Ethiopia minus seven of their regular players.
