The JMC Hippos FC welfare committee, has confirmed  the Fans and Well wishers meeting for 22nd July 2016 at Jinja  Town Hall.

According to the club media team the meeting will bring together JMC FC fans from all corners of Uganda.All Jinja Municipal Councillors  Councillors and His Worship the Mayor will be in attedance.

During the meeting the welfare committee headed by Pastor Moses Ssemambo, will hand over the No 1 fans Jersey to His Worship the Mayor Magid Batambuze.

This Jinja based side started playing competitive football in 2005 in Jinja’s first division under then head coach Vincent Lukyamuzi with team patron His Worship the Mayor of Jinja Baswari Kezaala , who built his team with a rock solid defensive lining .

Hippos become one of last  season’s title contenders at the beggining of the Azam Premier League  in their maiden appeareance with their beautiful flowing football.

They finished at a respectable position seven in the league.
