Belgium’s Proximus League leaders Royal Antwerp thrashed Deinze 3-0 to extend impeccable run in the second division league.
The match was played on Saturday 19 at the home of Royal Antwerp, Bosuilstadion.
Kenya international midfielder Johanna Omollo “Tosh” scored the opener with a fine header in the 20th minute before Dequevy made it 2-0 from the spot at the stroke of half time. Dequevy then grabbed a brace in the 55th minute for a 3-0 final scoreline.
The three points push Antwerp’s tally to 57 at the top, 6 clear of second placed AS Eupen, after 27 rounds.
Aboud Omar
Another Kenya international Aboud Omar who plays in Bulgaria clocked 90 minutes for his side Slavia Sofia in a goalless draw with Levski Sofia on the same day at Slavija Stadium.
The result leaves Slavia third on the Bulgerian Pro League, 4 points behind second placed Levski.
The match was the third for the former Tusker FC left back who joined from Greek side Penegialios in February 2016.
Victor Wanyama
Harambee Stars skipper Victor Wanyama returned to action for Southampton after five match ban, in a 3-2 dramatic win over Liverpool at home on Sunday 20.
Wanyama came on as a second half substitute when his team was trailing 2-1, helping them to engineer the turnaround.
Liverpool goals were scored by Philipe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge while Sadio Mane (2) and Graziano Pelle were on target for the Saints.
