Etoile du Sahel management announced officially sacking of coach Juan Carlos Garrido after an intense board meeting.
The decision came a few hours before their match against Chebba in the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle which ended in a goalless draw at the Stade Olympique de Sousse.
Following the news, it was confirmed that Garrido would not be on the touchline along with the team during their match against Chebba.
The Spanish coach has been managing the team since November, leading them to five wins, three draw, and five defeates in 13 matches.
Etoile du Sahel are currently in sixth place in the Tunisian league with 20 points after 14 matches played.
