Kenya’s downward spiral got worse in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday.

Coach Stanley Okumbi’s side who drew their latest friendly matches against Tanzania and Sudan has dropped 13 places to 129.

Uganda remains unchanged and the best in the region at position 72 – despite going down 2-0 to Zimbabwe in a build up match on Tuesday.

Kenya drew one all against Tanzania in an international friendly at Moi Sports Centre Kasarani on Sunday before following it with a similar result against Sudan on Tuesday at the same venue – both teams were below Kenya in FIFA ranking at the time of the friendlies.

Like Uganda, Sudan remains static at position 128 while Tanzania sinks seven places to 136.

Rwanda records the biggest drop in the region by negative 16 to 103. Amavubi lost 2-0 to Senegal in another international friendly last week.

Burundi, South Sudan, Ethiopia have also recorded negative gains to positions 132, 157 and 125 respectively.
