Ugandan international Khalid Aucho has sealed a three-year deal with Premier Soccer League (PSL) newbies Baroka FC, muting speculations over his next destination.

Khalid and his Kenyan agent George Bwana Wednesday evening concluded the move after lengthy negotiations that was reported to have commenced weeks back.

Before, the 24-year old former Gor Mahia and Tusker midfielder unsuccessfully tried out with Scotland top league side Aberdeen FC in July.

At the Coach Kgokolo Thobejane’s side, the Kenyan Premier League midfielder of the year runner up joins his national team captain Godfrey Massa who also signed for the “Bakgaga” early season from another PSL outfit Bloemfontein Celtic.

Khalid who has been a regular with the Uganda Cranes was among 32 called up by Head Coach Milutin Sredojovic Wednesday morning for two crucial ties against neighbors Kenya in a friendly and versus Islanders Comoros in the AFCON 2017 last qualifier September 4.
