Charles Kabore, who said he was retiring from international football, has been named by Burkina Faso in their squad for next month’s friendly in Chile and the African Nations Cup qualifier against Angola.
The 29-year-old Kabore said at the Nations Cup finals in Gabon at the start of the year that he was ending his career with the Burkinabe national team but looks to have had a change of heart and has been included in the squad by coach Paulo Duarte.
The Burkinabe Football Federation named 25 players, 22 of them from clubs based outside the country, for the friendly in Santiago on June 3 and then the opening match of the 2019 Nations Cup qualifying campaign in Ouagadougou on Saturday, June 10.
