The saying of “What you sow is what you reap” is a true description of intelligent defender Savio Kabugo’s long touching football journey.
After guiding his club Proline FC to the 8th position in the Azam Uganda Premier League, Kabugo has yet again earned been recalled to the national team Uganda Cranes ahead of friendly matches against Kitara region, Ethiopia, Senegal and AFCON Cameroon 2019 qualifiers against Cape Verde.
” I thank the Almighty God for being recalled back in the national side. It’s not by mistake that I am in but my tireless hard work and mother club Proline FC are the primary reasons for my current fruits. I have been there before and I know what it takes to maintain if I am once again trusted and given chance” he said in an exclusive interview with Soka25east.com
The former Sports Club Victoria University believes he is back to his based and injury free having featured 90minutes in each game he featured for Proline FC in the just concluded Azam Uganda Premier League.
” I am back to my best and injury free. It’s not easy for any player to get a career threatening injury and get back to his best but with God l have managed to achieve it” he added.
Kabugo was in march invited by the Cranes and featured against Kamuli region in the Regional tour and also against the French military side at Namboole stadium putting up a decent show.
