Tanzania’s Kagera Sugar goalkeeper David Burhani has died following a short illness, the club has confirmed.
According to his coach Mecky Maxime, Burhani fell ill a few days ago while his team was enroute to Singida to honor an Azam Sports Federation Cup match.
His condition became worse when Kagera Sugar returned from that game and he sadly passed away this morning.
David Burhan is the son to former Pan African Striker Abdallah Burhan.
His death comes a few months after the tragic passing of mbao fc teenager Awadh who collapsed and passed away in an under 20 match .
