Kenyan premier league giants Gor Mahia have bagged their 16th KPL title with four games to spare after beating the soldiers Ulinzi stars 1:0 in a premier league encounter played at the Kericho Green Stadium.
The Dylan Kerr led side scored the lone goal of the match in the 14th minute off the match when Rwandese forward Meddie Kagere Lached on to Kenyan international midfielder Francis Kahata through ball to beat goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo.
Ulinzi head coach Benjamin Nyangweso made changes to his side after the interval bringing on Mark Bikokwa for Oliver Ruto but the changes bore no fruits as Kogalo held on for a historic win.
Gor Mahia will now represent Kenya at the continental club competition, CAF champions league next year.
