Amakhosi strengthened their squad with yet another signing this time Bafana Bafana midfielder Lebogang Manyama who joined as a free agent having left Turkish side in the off season

The Alessandra born midfielder was linked with a return to Cape Town City where he was once a captain and Mamelodi Sundowns but Amakhosi have won the race for his signature.

The Premier Soccer League player of the season in 2016/17 has signed for Konyaspor in Turkey in August 2017 from Cape Town City in a deal believed to be R10 million.

Supersport United sold Manyama to Mpumalanga Black Aces whose franchise was sold to John Comitis at the end of 2015/16 who formed Cape Town City.

Manyama was the PSL top scorer in 2016/17 for third place City with 13 goals.

Manyama has only managed 13 appearances in all competitions since joining the Turkish side .
