Wycliffe Ochomo penalty in the dying minutes of the game was all Kakamega Homeboyz needed to get a win against Muhoroni Youth in an SportPesa Premier League match played at Mumias Sports Complex.

Both teams came into the match in search of a win and the home side looked dangerous early on trying to attack with every opportunity they got, only for poor finishing and good save denying them a goal.

Mwachiponi could have given Richard Tamale coached side the lead in the 18th minute, unfortunately he could not hit the target with the goal at his mercy.

Kakamega Homeboyz had their chance in the first half when Meshack Karani got a ball from the centre,sending a beautiful pass to Ochomo but the former sent his shot over the bar.

However the match was interrupted in the second half when Muhoroni Yoith fans invanded the pitch something that made police to interviene.

The violence occured immediately after the penalty was awarded and before anything happened Ochomo sloted in the penalty.

Muhoroni left feeling undone by obvious defensive error which gifted their opponents all the three points.
