FAZ President Andrew Kamanga has congratulated Zesco United Football Club on
reaching the Caf Champions League semi-finals.
This is according to a post on the Football association of Zambia official facebook page
The FAZ Chief addressed Zesco United players
and officials at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
after the match with Wydad Casablanca.
“As FAZ we are proud that Zesco has reached the semi finals of the champions league. It is our hope that the players will remain focused and proceed to the final,” said Kamanga.
“We remain confident and expectant that Zesco
will continue flying the Zambian flag.”
Zesco will play Mamelodi Sundowns of South
Africa after finishing second in Group A with 9
points behind leaders Wydad Casablanca who
finished on 11 points
