Black Leopards attacking midfielder Lesedi Kapinga says he is focused on his current team amid reports linking him with a move to PSL Champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the upcoming transfer window.
The 24-year old is reported to have signed a pre-contract with Mamelodi Sundowns, but the player was quick to deny ever talking to the Tswane giants.
“I don’t know anything about that. I have no idea where that comes from. As far as I know, I am a Black Leopards player and that’s it,” Kapinga told the Daily Sun as quoted by Goal.com
“I’m a Black Leopards player. That’s where my focus is at right now. I am in camp as we speak so I can’t talk,” he said.
Kapinga has played 24 matches for Lidoda Duvha in this season’s League campaign scoring 5 goals and making 5 assists.
Kapinga’s rich form has seen himself get into the headlines linking him with a move to top PSL clubs including Sundowns, whose coach Pitso Mosimane disclosed recently the club has already secured three new players ahead of next season.
