Kampala Capital City Authority will target the full three points as they meet Esperance in their fourth CAF Champions League, Group A match on Saturday afternoon.
The Ugandan champions are still licking their wounds after their 3-2 loss at the hands of the Tunisians last week.
However, meeting the North Africans at home allows KCCA to return to winning ways in front of their home crowd.
Coach Mike Mutebi’s troops opened their Group A assignments against Botswana’s Township Rollers, but they lost 1-0.
In their second clash, the visited Al Ahly of Egypt and managed to secure a 0-0 draw, but claimed their first win via a 2-0 scoreline over the Red Devils.
Sitting at number three on the log table with three points from as many games pushes them to secure a win and remain hopeful of a spot in the knockout stage.
However, the visitors are motivated as they are at the top of the group with seven points from two wins and a single draw, but will be wary of KCCA.
Esperance opened their campaign with a goalless draw against Ahly and demolished Rollers by a 4-1 margin before bagging a 3-2 win over the Ugandans.
A win for the Tunis-based side will take them to 10 points and cement their spot in the next stage of the competition.
