Allan Okello and Timothy Awany struck on either halves as KCCA FC became the second team to pick three points from Onduparaka FC at the Greenlight stadium in Arua.
The Caterpillars came into the game at the back of two wins and two clean sheets but were unable to contain Allan Okello who gave the Kasasiros the lead six minutes into the game.
The youngster, who made his senior debut for KCCA in a 7-1 thrashing of the caterpillars at Lugogo over a year ago, slipped through to brush in an asking cross from Mustapha Kizza.
Nicholas Kagaba nearly equalised for the hosts at the half hour mark after making a solo run down the left before unleashing a shot which Lukwago expertly swiped over the bar for a corner.
Lukwago was again called to action five minutes after restart when he stretched to his limits to keep off Rashid Okocha’s free kick.
Vianne Sekajugo also had a chance minutes later but his shot hit the side net.
Timothy Awany doubled the lead for the visitors in the 64th minute to put the game beyond Onduparaka’s reach.
KCCA go top of the table, temporarily, with seven points from three games as Onduparaka remain with six. The Caterpillars embark on a journey on Tuesday to play Kirinya Jinja SSS Fc in Jinja.
