Uganda Champions Kampala City Council Authority football club will be the guest team in the 11th edition of Addis Ababa City Cup set for Saturday October 8,2016 kick-off at Addis Ababa Stadium,Ethiopia.
The annual pres-season tournament meant to gauge mostly premier league sides before new season commences will run until Sunday 23.
KCCA is in group “A” together with Ethio-Electric, St. George and Defence while group “B” consists; Adama City, Nigid Bank and Addis Ababa City.
Kidus Giorgis sworn enemies Ethiopia Coffee declined the cup’s participation instead opting for Castle South Cup which begins on Tuesday in Hawassa City.
Defending champions Dashen Beer were not invited after being relegated from Ethiopia top flight last season.
