Reigning Azam Uganda Premier league champions Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) have completed the signing of Ugandan international midfielder Saddam Ibrahim Juma from Express FC.
The 24 year old joins the Mike Mutebi charges in a bid to bolster the squad ahead of the CAF confederation cup group stages.
Speaking to the clubs official portal after his official unveiling, the midfielder expressed his delight in joining the Phillip Omondi stadium based side.
“It is a great opportunity for me to join a great team like KCCA FC. I’m delighted that I join a team with talented players and good coaches. It is now upon me to fulfill to the expectations of the club and that is exactly what I promise to offer.”
The clubs team manager Mike Mutebi welcomed the arrival of the Kampala born midfield maestro ,noting that his exceptional abilities perfectly fits in the KCCA type of play.
“Certainly his acquisition is going to add a lot on the way we play. I have always talked about clarity in our play and have been looking for a player who can circulate the ball and command us in the midfield and Saddam is that kind of player,”
The former Sài Gòn Xuân handed was handed shirt number 23 previously donned by Joseph Ochaya before his departure to Zambian moneybags Lusaka Dynamos.
