KCCA FC striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma is the February SK Football Player of the Month.
The 32-year-old Sserunkuma won the award after scoring a total of six goals to become the first winner of newly launched monthly award.
Sserunkuma beat SC Villa’s Emmanuel Okwi and Proline’s Nelson Ssenkatuka by a big margin in a vote conducted by football fans.
Sserunkuma garnered 224 points ahead of Okwi who was second on 183 points while Ssenkatuka was third on 102 points.
He scored six goals, 2 in the AUPL against Bul FC and Onduparaka FC both at Phillip Omondi stadium taking his tally to 11 goals.
Other goals scored by Sserunkuma in February are 2 goals in the Uganda Cup against Lungujjja Galaxy at Phillip Omondi Stadium and 2 goals against Primeiro De Agosto of Angola both home and away in the CAF champions league to set up a historic clash against defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
Teenage sesantion Allan Okello of KCCA and Onduparaka’s Living Kabon took fourth and fifth positions with 97 and 90 points respectively.
