AFC Leopards problems on an off the pitch seems to be taking a toll on one of the most decorated clubs in Kenya, a team with so much history this is after losing their sponsor Mumias Sugar.

However the sad days of players and technical bench failing to get their payments are soon coming to an end with a sponsor shaping up to take over the mantle from Mumias Sugar.

Soka25East.com has exclusively learnt that a big sponsorship deal is set to be announced that will see the many problems resolves once and for all and it will be done with the help of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking to some of the concerned parties who sort anonymity so as not to jeopardise the deal Soka25east found out that the sponsor even requested the top team officials to cancel the planned fundraiser that was scheduled to take place.

“We are not happy at all seeing the bad things happening at AFC Leopards that’s why we have sort to see how to get that important sponsorship that will see Ingwe rise up again in a big way.We asked the team officials to cancel the proposed fund raising while hoping the deal will be announced any time from next week and President Uhuru Kenyatta might be the person to unveil it officially”The source told Soka25east.com

It will be a great relief for AFC Leopards players most of whom decamped to other teams after the club could not meet its obligations to pay their salaries on time.
