Kenya team to represent the country in the 2018 CHAN left for Morocco Tuesday where they will play two friendlies against Mauritania and Togo.

The home-based side coached by Musa Otieno and Frank Ouna will face the Mauritania tomorrow before taking on Togo on Monday, September 4th.

Gor Mahia goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch will skipper the 22-man squad.

Former Chemelil Sugar defender Joseph Okumu, who is currently unattached after parting ways with South Africa’s Free States Stars has made the trip.

So is Kariobangi Sharks defender Pascal Ogweno who is serving a six-match ban by the Kenyan Premier League for misconduct.

Gor Mahia prodigy Boniface Omondi has also made the cut. The former Agro Chemical FC star has had a dream first life in the Kenyan Premier since signing for Nzoia Sugar FC early this year before joining K’Ogalo midseason.

Kenya was awarded to host the continental showpiece reserved for home-based professionals, which starts January 2018.
