They did it to no ones expectations in the just concluded Cecafa Kagame cup in Tanzania’s commercial city of Dar es Salaam.They finished as runners up with a stylish display beating Tanzanian heavy weights Yanga and Sudanese giants al Khartoum in style.Gor Mahia is truly invincible.

As they returned to the Kenyan capital Nairobi where their base is,the club embarked on stretching their lead at the top of the prestigious KPL,who already have a sponsor in Spoertpesa.

East Africa’s most successful club Gor Mahia with  a CAF Confederations cup title in place came back a rejuvenated club and their next destination was an away trip to on form Kenya commercial Bank at the Nyayo Stadium.With the tiredom,the merciless kogallo confronted a well oiled bankers who had just beaten Thika United 3-2 in their last fixture.

Their destination was the Nyayo stadium where a hapless KCB soaked in 6 goals and only replying once with former Gor Mahia man Mungai Kiongera providing the consolation.
