Nigeria becomes the first country to qualify for the African cup of Nations and not Egypt as earlier reported, this is after the Confederation of African football found that Egypt fielded an ineligible player in both legs. Egypt has been fined and Nigeria awarded six points thus meaning Nigeria with 7 points qualify for the 2017 Nations cup in Gabon

Kenya all are on the verge of qualifying after Guinea Bissau too fielded an ineligible player in both legs, Guinea Bissau have been fined 20,000 USD and docked all the six points they got from Kenya. With that Kenya now top the Group with 7 points followed by both Zambia and Congo at six. Kenya need to beat Congo at home and avoid defeat in Zambia to qualify.
