Kenya squad for Sudan, Tanzania friendlies released

The “Harambee Stars” head Coach Stanley Okumbi has named a squad of twenty nine to commence camp ahead of AFCON 2017 Qualifier re-match against Congo Brazzaville on June 5.

To prepare for the crunch tie, Stars will play two build up matches against Sudan on May 27 and versus neighbors Tanzania on international friendly date, May 29.

Notable new face in the squad which heads to Utalii Hotel on Monday 23, is Masita Masuta of National Super League side Nzoia Sugar. The former Muhoroni Youth foward has been in an incredible scoring form for Nzoia who are currently toping the table.

Returnees include; Aboud Omar of Bulgaria, Victor Ali Abondo who recently switched from Gor Mahia to ABSA Premiership’s Ajax Cape Town of South Africa, Humphrey Mieno of Tusker FC and the leading SportPesa Premier League leading top scorer Wycliffe Ochomo.

Loudly missing is veteran keeper Arnold Origi of Lillestrom, Norway.
