Kenyan international Paul Were Ooko was part of the the Kalloni team that beat PAOK Thessaloniki 2-1 in a Greece Cup match played yesterday 6th January.
He played for 90 minutes before being subsituted by Rafael Gioukaris.Anastasiadis Anestis drew first blood in the 3rd minute for a half time lead before Fostis Georgiou doubled the lead in the 78th minute.Robert Mak pulled a consolation for the visitors with a minute to regulation time.Thessaloniki featured former Totenham Hotspurs and Manchester United star Dimitir Berbatov who came in for Athanasiadis at the hour mark.
In other matches played in the night,Platanias were held to a goalless draw by Atromitos as Levadiakos lost 0-1 at home to AEK Athens with Ronald Vargas netting the winner.A Karamanos’s goal was the difference as Panionios shocked Ergotelis.
